Spectrum PA6 Neat BK is a high-performance, black-colored filament based on pure polyamide 6 (PA6), designed for professional use in harsh mechanical and thermal conditions. It enables long-term operation at elevated temperatures of up to 120°C (for 20,000 hours) and short-term exposure up to 160°C (for 200 hours), all while maintaining excellent mechanical properties. The material also boasts low linear shrinkage (0.3%), reduced water absorption (<0.3% in 24h at 23°C), and strong resistance to oils, lubricants, and corrosion-inducing agents. These properties make it ideal for manufacturing robust structural components, slide bearings, and high-performance parts exposed to dry friction. Spectrum PA6 Neat BK also provides very good electrical insulation and tribological properties. To take full advantage of its features, store the filament in dry conditions and dry it before use. Printing with a heated chamber is also recommended for best results.
