PC/PTFE
( number of products: 1 )Spectrum PC/PTFE is a composite filament based on polycarbonate with added PTFE (Teflon), combining high mechanical strength with excellent abrasion resistance and low friction. With low processing shrinkage (~0.6%) and thermal resistance up to 140°C, it is perfect for advanced industrial and engineering applications requiring precision and durability.
Spectrum PC/PTFE is an advanced composite 3D printing filament combining polycarbonate (PC) with PTFE (Teflon) to enhance wear resistance and reduce friction. This filament offers high mechanical strength, low processing shrinkage of approximately 0.6%, and excellent thermal and chemical stability.
With a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 140°C and Vicat softening point of 145°C, Spectrum PC/PTFE produces parts with strong interlayer adhesion, allowing for precise, durable prints with complex geometries. It also offers outstanding electrical resistance (1E12 Ohm) and low static (0.18) and dynamic (0.14) coefficients of friction, making it ideal for sliding components and mechanical parts.
Printed parts can be machined to smooth surfaces. Drying the filament before printing and using a heated chamber is recommended for optimal results.
