Spectrum PA6 CF15 is an advanced, black, engineering-grade filament based on polyamide 6 (PA6), reinforced with 15% chopped carbon fibers. This formulation provides exceptional mechanical strength, rigidity, and thermal resistance, while significantly reducing moisture absorption and printing shrinkage. With an extremely low linear shrinkage of only 0.1%, Spectrum PA6 CF15 ensures excellent dimensional stability—making it ideal for demanding technical and industrial applications. The material supports long-term operation at temperatures up to 150°C (20,000 hours) and short-term peaks up to 180°C (200 hours). It also features a high HDT value of 200°C, high creep resistance, abrasion resistance, and excellent interlayer bonding. The filament does not require a heated chamber for printing and is compatible with common support materials like HIPS and PVOH. For prolonged use, hardened steel or ruby nozzles above 0.4 mm are recommended to withstand the abrasive carbon content. Perfect for use in automotive, aerospace, robotics, and precision tooling.
