Spectrum Pellet ABS Kevlar – lightness and precision with an addition of aramid fibers
Spectrum Pellet ABS Kevlar is a high-quality material for 3D printing designed for large-format 3D printers using FGF technology. The main advantage of 3D printers that enable printing directly from pellets is characterized by higher efficiency as compared to printing with use of traditional filaments, which results in significantly reduced time required for models’ production. Regardless of whether you create prototypes or produce large-scale models, our pellets will meet your needs.
Spectrum Pellet ABS Kevlar is characterized by properties identical to the Spectrum ABS Kevlar filament - a material based on classic ABS enriched with Kevlar. The material is characterized by higher strength and increased resistance as compared to standard ABS. The adjustments done ensure reduced processing shrinkage, very good adhesion to the working platforms and reduced density, resulting in slightly lighter prints than their counterparts manufactured using standard ABS.
Excellent dimensional stability allows 3D printing of objects with accurate dimensions, which is crucial for projects consisting of multiple elements.
Tip: Due to the significant content of crushed carbon fiber, it is recommended to use nozzles with larger diameters than standard 0.4 mm. In addition, the presence of carbon fiber may cause brass nozzles to wear out, so it is recommended to use stainless steel nozzles for long-term use of Spectrum ABS Kevlar Pellet.
