Spectrum PP
Lightweight and strength in a single material
Spectrum PP is a modern polypropylene filament that combines low density, high flexibility, and excellent chemical and mechanical resistance. It is one of the lightest materials used in 3D printing – with a density of just 0.9 g/cm³, printed parts are exceptionally lightweight, yet durable and resistant to mechanical damage. Thanks to its optimized formulation, Spectrum PP ensures superb interlayer adhesion, minimal shrinkage, and a stable, predictable printing process, even on standard desktop 3D printers.
Outstanding flexibility and resistance
Spectrum PP offers the perfect balance between stiffness and flexibility – it can be stretched by up to 600% without breaking. The filament features a Shore D hardness of 50, excellent resistance to wear, abrasion, and cracking, and is completely impermeable to water, detergents, and most chemicals. This makes it ideal for printing watertight functional parts, containers, technical connectors, or reusable components that can be safely cleaned in a dishwasher or used in a microwave.
Durability and functionality for everyday use
With its high chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and exceptional elasticity, Spectrum PP performs perfectly in both engineering and everyday applications. Printed parts are lightweight, durable, and fatigue-resistant, making the filament suitable for producing technical components, hinges, containers, and other elements that require long-term performance in demanding environments.
For the best bed adhesion, it is recommended to use Magigoo PP adhesive, which ensures reliable first-layer bonding and minimizes the risk of warping or detachment during printing.
